Through the advocacy of Ma Jaya, and the work of Kashi's service organization, The River Fund, we have worked with people with AIDS, including the gay community, since the early 80's. We have personally known and worked with hundreds of people who have died of AIDS all over the world, and many more who are still living with the disease. We are very aware that the rates of HIV infection have not slowed down, despite the decrease in AIDS-related deaths. We work with the gay community through Kashi Rainbow. But, as we all know, AIDS is not a gay disease and affects the populations at large in every country, some more than others. These ribbons show your support for those suffering and for finding a cure. Whether they are magnets to put on your car or stick-on AIDS Awareness Red Ribbons for a fundraising event, these ribbons give you an opportunity to show your personal support for this extremely hard fight!-
