Hindu Statue Dancing Ganesh - 4 1/2" (brass)

When Ganesh is portrayed dancing with one foot up, he most resembles his father, Lord Shiva (according to some Hindu tales of his origin).
Ganesh’s brother is Skanda. The northern and southern parts of India differ as to who is the elder.
Hindu myths are not rigid about whether or not Ganesh ever had a consort.
We do know Ganesh is a non-sectarian deity worshipped by all denominations of Hindus as well as Buddhists and Jains.
This statue is made of brass and stands 4-1/2” tall.
